We were very pleased to receive photos of the boys playing in the kits, although when we saw many of them playing in socks and bare feet on the stony pitch, we were determined to follow up with donations of old football boots and trainers.

U11 Fairplay Award49 viewsSurrey County FA rewarded two youth teams for demonstrating Fair Play and Respect throughout the 2008/9 season.
On 15th October 2009, at Leatherhead Football Club, Caroline McRoyall, County Development Manager, presented the awards to Beecholme Belles U11 team and their manager Jim Hobern, nominated by the Surrey County Women & Girls League and AFC Ewell U11b team managed by Natalie Austen, and assistant Clare Rolfe, nominated by the Epsom and Ewell Youth League.
Both clubs have already acheieved FA Charter Standard Status and this award confirms their commitment to best practice. Oct 30, 2009
